WrestlingInc.com has an update in the case involving the stalker and attempted kidnapper of WWE Superstar Sonya Deville. Per the report, depositions against the alleged suspect, Phillip Thomas, are slated to begin on February 3, 2021. There will reportedly be depositions for Sonya Deville, Mandy Rose, and one of Deville’s neighbors.

Following the depositions in February, the case will then move to the other Sheriff’s department deputies and their investigators. That’s expected to proceed until March 17, 2021. The expected trial date is reportedly going to end up in June at the earliest, but it could last through the summer.

Additionally, 15 people from the Hillsboro County Sheriff’s Office are said to be involved in the case. Deville was recently served with paperwork to let her know she was needed for the deposition process. However, it was then discovered that Deville had moved from her previous home where the incident took place.

Per court documents, the Sheriff’s Office attempted to serve the paperwork on November 23. The report noted that the paperwork was “unserved” and that she moved from the home, or it became a vacant property.\

As previously reported, Thomas is facing charges of aggravated stalking, armed burglary of a dwelling, attempted armed kidnapping, and criminal mischief. Thomas is currently jailed in Tampa, Florida.
