Usos Could Still Win Tag Titles at Elimination Chamber Despite Jimmy Uso’s Arrest

– Despite Jimmy Uso’s altercation with a police officer, they could still become Smackdown Tag Team Champions at Elimination Chamber. Uso, who was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction following an incident where he and Naomi were pulled over in Detroit, is set to team with his brother against Shane McMahon and The Miz at Elimination Chamber for the titles. While the incident is not the kind of thing WWE looks favorably on, their contracts are up soon according to Wrestling Observer Live and that could play into a possible title win.

Bryan Alvarez noted on the show that WWE does not want the team to go to All Elite Wrestling and, like the Revival, could conceivably be given a title run to keep them with the company. The company has been making a push to lock their talent into longer contracts to keep them from jumping ship.

Elimination Chamber is set to take place on Sunday and airs live on WWE Network.
