Various News: Bob Backlund Set For Japan Shows, 2K Releasing Special Edition of WWE 2K18, Hedge Fund Sells WWE Stock
– PWInsider reports that Bob Backlund is set for Tatsumi Fujinami’s Dradition “Back to New York” shows on April 20-21 in Japan. They will compete together and against each other in six-man tag matches along with other Japanese legends. The shows happen at Tokyo’s Korakuen Hall and Osaka’s ATC Hall.
– A new SEC filing reveals that Hedge Fund sponsor Eminence Capital gave up it’s 9% ownership (3,639,974 shares) in World Wrestling Entertainment.
– 2K is set to release a special Wrestlemania edition of WWE 2K18 for fans in Europe, the Middle East and Australia. It includes:
* A copy of WWE 2K18;
* Special WrestleMania items: WrestleMania 34-themed WWE SuperCard content; Two Seth Rollins Topps cards; Seth Rollins poster;
* Kurt Angle Pack: Formerly available only as a pre-order bonus; Includes two playable versions of Kurt Angle (WWE “American Hero” and ECW “Wrestling Machine”);
* Cena (Nuff) Pack: Formerly available only in the WWE 2K18 Deluxe Edition or Cena (Nuff) Edition; Includes two playable versions of John Cena (ECW One Night Stand and WrestleMania 26) and playable characters Batista and Rob Van Dam;
