Various News: STARDOM Issues Apology on Event Cancellation, Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestler Tests Positive for COVID-19, GCW Sells Out September Bring Em Out Card

As previously reported, STARDOM canceled a weekend event in Osaka after a member tested positive for COVID-19. STARDOM later issued the following apology on the cancellation:

Thank you to fans that came to the venue today. We’re sorry that we had to cancel the show (and for all the fans watching on Stardom World, too). Official 5★STAR GP2020 matches for today will be rescheduled to upcoming shows. Thank you for your support, we truly appreciate you.

PWInsider reports that a female wrestler with Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling tested positive for COVID-19. She was not at the show that was scheduled for today. The report notes that the promotion will be cancelling the next two shows in order to test everyone.

DDT Pro is also moving forward with today’s shows, but none of the Tokyo Joshi Pro wrestlers will be appearing at that event today.

– GCW has announced that the promotion has sold outs it’s upcoming return to Indianapolis, Indiana on September 6. GCW Presents Bring Em Out will be held on that date and streamed live on FITE TV.
