– NFL star Victor Cruz recently appeared on Hot 97 (via wrestlinginc.com) and revealed an incident between CM Punk and Johnny Bananas on MTV’s The Challenge: Champs vs. Pros competition. Cruz explained that Bananas tried to get under Punk’s skin, and mocked Punk for his UFC debut not going so well. According to Cruz, Punk got livid and the two got nose to nose and were ready to fight. Cruz said that MTV executives were hoping that he would break up the incident, but he decided not to get involved.
