Wade Barrett Says He ‘Could Not Be Happier’ With NXT Commentary Gig
In a post on Twitter, NXT announcer Vic Joseph noted that after NXT went off the air, he and Wade Barrett proceeded to sing Kenny Loggins songs. Barrett confirmed this, and then later said he “could not be happier” with his current job.
Joseph wrote: “Highlight of the night (this is not a joke) singing @kennyloggins songs off the #TopGun soundtrack with @StuBennett post show!”
Barrett replied: “After chasing sunsets, one of life’s simple joys is playin’ with the boys. You can be my wingman anytime @VicJosephWWE.”
Then, after a fan noted how much fun he seemed to be having, he wrote: “Can confirm.. I’m loving every second of being on the #WWENXT commentary desk. Could not be happier, the show kicks ass.”
