WWE Considering Stephanie McMahon vs. Becky Lynch At Summerslam
February 7, 2019 | Posted by
According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via Wrestling Inc), WWE is considering a match between Stephanie McMahon and Becky Lynch for Summerslam, although he stressed that the match “is most definitely not a done deal.”
WWE has started to push a story between Lynch and the McMahon family heading into Wrestlemania. On RAW, Stephanie suspended Lynch indefinitely over her knee injury, which resulted in Lynch attacking McMahon. As she was being held back, Stephanie kicked her in the “injured” knee. The next night n Smackdown, Triple H suggested that Lynch was trying not to get cleared so she wouldn’t have to face Rousey, so Lynch slapped him in the face.
