WWE News: Drew McIntyre Needed Help to Leave Ring at WarGames, TakeOver Entrance Videos for Aleister Black and Velveteen Dream
– PWInsider reports that a trainer had to come into the ring to help Drew McIntyre exit the ring and get to the back after his NXT world title match tonight at NXT TakeOver: WarGames. Drew McIntyre faced Andrade Cien Almas, and Almas defeated him to win the NXT world title.
McIntyre was reportedly favoring his left arm and shoulder when he was helped back to the locker room. There are no other details on him possibly sustaining an injury in the match at this time. Tonight’s event is still ongoing at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
