WWE Money in the Bank Match Nixed Following Bayley’s Injury
Bianca Belair will not defend her Smackdown Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank after Bayley went down due to injury. On tonight’s Smackdown, it was announced that due to the knee injury that will keep Bayley out for about nine months, Belair will not compete at Money in the Bank and will instead defend against Carmella on next week’s episode of Smackdown.
As for Bayley, she appeared in a video that was shown on Smackdown where she was in a knee brace and blamed the fans for the injury. She said that she knows the fans wanted to see her regain her title but she’s hurt now, and then said she actually realizes that the fans don’t care at all that she did all this for them.
