WWE News: CM Punk Comments on Classic WWE Match, Nia Jax in New York City For NBC Upfronts
– CM Punk posted to Twitter to comment on a classic WWE match that he was involved with. Punk, who has stayed largely silent on wrestling-related matters in recent memory, replied to a tweet from the (non-WWE affliated) WWEOTD Twitter account about Punk’s dark match with Doug Delicious against The Road Warriors from 2003. The match was Road Warrior Hawk’s last appearance in a WWE ring:
#OTDinWWE 15 years ago, The Legion of Doom beat @CMPunk and Doug Delicious in a dark match before a Smackdown taping.
This would be LOD's last appearance in a WWE ring before Hawk's death. pic.twitter.com/mMtup8YqAJ
