WWE News: Dean Ambrose Is Now a Grand Slam Champion, Latest Canvas 2 Canvas

– Dean Ambrose has become WWE’s latest Grand Slam Champion after winning the Raw Tag Team Championship with Seth Rollins at SummerSlam. Ambrose’s tag title win joins his WWE Championship, Intercontinental Championship and United States Championship reigns.

The current format requires one of the two primary brand championships, one of the two tag team championships and one of the two secondary championships. Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero, Edge, Big Show, Daniel Bryan, Chris Jericho and The Miz are Grand Slam Champions per that format. The original Grand Slam status required having a primary championship (WWF Championship or World Heavyweight), a Tag Team Championship, the Intercontinental Championship and one of the Tertiary Championships (European or Hardcore Championship).
