– Edge vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal title was recently made official for WrestleMania 37, meaning Edge is now part of the SmackDown roster. A fan on Instagram expressed disappointment that Edge is now part of SmackDown, claiming that the SmackDown “is full of rookies” and wants to see Edge faces the likes of Drew McIntyre, AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy, Bobby Lashley, Brock Lesnar, Sheamus, and Kofi Kingston. Edge responded to the user on Instagram, which you can see below (via niclaswwe on Squared Circle Reddit).

Edge wrote in response, noting the veteran stars on the SmackDown roster, “Cesaro, Daniel Bryan, King Corbin, Big E, Jey Uso, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens etc etc say hi.” Additionally, Brock Lesnar has been off WWE programming since WrestleMania 36 last year. Lesnar’s contract reportedly expired, and he became a free agent after the event. His future with WWE is unknown.
