WWE News: Roman Reigns Defending Universal Title on Raw, Triple H Cuts Promo on Undertaker
– Roman Reigns is making his first defense of the WWE Universal Championship on tonight’s episode of Raw. Reigns came out in the opening segment and said he wanted to defend the title against Finn Balor, who won the championship in Brooklyn last year at SummerSlam but never got to defend it due to the injury suffered in the match. Balor came out to accept the challenge.
Baron Corbin came out and said Balor didn’t deserve a rematch after coming out the Demon at SummerSlam to face him, but Kurt Angle appeared and made the match official.

– Triple H appeared during Raw and talked about his match against The Undertaker at Super Show-Down in Australia on October 6th. The Game said that he had agreed to compete at Super-Show-Down when asked by Vince McMahon but then when he found out it was against The Undertaker, his response, was “hell no.” He said that his last match against Undertaker was supposed to be the end of an era, but that he doesn’t want to come out sounding like an old, bitter veteran and therefore he accepted the match:
