– WWE Network has shared a photo from 2009, featuring MVP and John Cena dressed in LA Lakers attire to hit Cody Rhodes. It was part of an angle in which Vince McMahon set up a 5-on-5 match after a disagreement between the NBA, Denver Nuggets Owner Stan Kroenke and Vince McMahon over the Western Conference Finals match-up between the Lakers & Nuggets at the Pepsi Center in Denver, which RAW had been scheduled to use. Instead, RAW emanated from the Staples Center.
