WWE NXT Live Results 4.19.18: Andrade “Cien” Almas vs. Aleister Black, More

– WWE held an NXT live show in Washington, DC on Thursday night, with Andrade Almas battling Aleister Black in the main event. The results are below, per PWInsider:

10 bell salute for Bruno Sammartino

Match #1 – Oney Lorcan vs. Chad Lail goes nowhere when Blake & Murphy come in to attack Lorcan. Street Profits come in for the save and we have a 6-Man Tag! Lorcan gets the pin on Lail to score one for the good guys.

Tomasso Ciampa video promo lets us know that Johnny Gargano will not be here tonight and to tune into NXT TV next to see why. He then tells the crowd to give all the energy and respect to “Mr. Tommy Entertainment” when he comes out for his match later tonight.

Match # 2 – Bianca Belair & Lacey Evans vs. Candice LeRae & Nikki Cross. Cross gets the hot tag from LeRae, cross body off the top rope then a swinging suplex for the pin.

The Velveteen Dream video promo, he is home.

Match #3 – Velveteen Dream vs. Ricochet. Fun back and forth match. Ricochet scores the pin after hitting a shooting star press on the Velveteen Dream. The Dream heels Ricochet and disses him on a handshake. The hometown crowd chants his name.

Match #4 – Kassius Ohno vs. Tommaso Ciampa. Tommy Entertainment gets the pin after a knee to the back of Ohno’s head. Ciampa continues the assault on Ohno until Johnny Gargano comes in through the crowd to stop the beat down. Street Profits, Candice & Ohno hit the ring to hold back Gargano from going after his rival any causing further damage to his neck.

Match #5 – EC3 issues an Open Challenge! No Way Jose accepts. EC3 with the pin after a Diamond Cutter.

Match #6 – Kairi Sane vs. Shayna Baszler (c) for the NXT Women’s Title. Baszler retains after she puts forces Sane to tap out to a rear naked choke.

Match #7 – Main Event Time: Andrade Almas (no Vega) vs. Aleister Black (c). Alma’s attempts to use the belt on Black, is stopped by the ref then gets a back kick to the head and pinned. Still your NXT Champion, Aleister Black!
