– A new report from Sean Ross Sapp at Fightful Select says WWE has pitched for women to wrestle at the upcoming Saudi Arabia show in May. The pitch reportedly happened a couple of weeks ago, but specifics are unclear. Sapp goes on to report that WWE has no intentions of pulling out of their 10-year deal with Saudi Arabia and they maintain a positive relationship with those hosting the events.

Female superstars were not allowed to participate at The Greatest Royal Rumble last April or Crown Jewel this past November. The female talent roster did not travel with WWE to either show. However, Renee Young was able to do commentary for Crown Jewel, which was viewed as a step in the right direction for all parties.

WWE will reportedly return to Saudi Arabia on May 3.
