WWE Posts Storyline Update on Vince McMahon

– Vince McMahon made his return last night’s edition of WWE Smackdown, confronting Kevin Owens over his recent issues with Shane McMahon. Vince put Owens in his place and announced that Owens would face Shane at the HIAC PPV, inside the Hell in a Cell. Owens agreed to this, but wanted Vince to promise that he won’t fire him after he destroys Shane, and that he also won’t be fired if a McMahon provokes him and he then beats them senseless. This led to Owens head butting McMahon, busting him open and then beating him down and laying him out with a frog splash. WWE posted the following update…

WWE Chairman and CEO Mr. McMahon was on the receiving end of a brutal attack at the hands of Kevin Owens during the shocking conclusion of Sin City SmackDown.

WWE.com has learned that, following the attack, Mr. McMahon did not give comment and refused to be looked at by medical staff.
