WWE Raw House Show Results 8.11.18: Finn Balor Battles Baron Corbin, More

– WWE held a Raw-branded house show on Saturday night in Norfolk, Virginia featuring Finn Balor vs. Baron Corbin and more. Results are below, per PWINsider:

Finn Balor defeated Baron Corbin in a match that was better, in my opinion, than the one they had at the Extreme Rules PPV.

Titus O’Neil, Apollo Crews, Zack Ryder and Bobby Roode won an 8-man tag team match, defeating The Authors of Pain, Jinder Mahal and Mojo Rawley when Bobby hit Jinder with the Glorious DDT.

Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy defeated The Revival. Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson know what to do to generate heat from a crowd, but the crowd is just not into it much here at first. The crowd really got behind Bray and Matt Hardy and they end up going over in a fun match.

Braun Strowman defeated Kevin Owens in a Street Fight. Owens grabbed the mic mid-match and got a lot of heat. Strowman slams Owens through a table leaned against the turnbuckles and gets the pin. Strowman did a Hulk Hogan-like celebration trying to pop the crowd from all sides and tossing his shirt to the loudest side.

After intermission, Elias is introduced. Mediocre heat. Much different than Raw. Then the crowd popped after he played a song and did his schtick. Elias announces he will be performing on the Saturday before Summerslam, but out came Bobby Lashley. They have an extended segment where Elias wanted to sing and Lashley encouraged it at first. Elias turns and attacks Lashley. Lashley responds and did his extended vertical suplex to a decent pop that ended the segment.

Ember Moon defeated WWE Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss via DQ. Moon emerged to a pretty good pop. Alexa Bliss used underhanded tactics most of the match. Ember is set up for The Eclipse and the potential win, but Alicia Fox attacked her.

Chaos ensued with a bunch of run-ins and it ends up becoming an 8-woman tag. Bayley, Sasha Banks, Natalya and Ember Moon defeated Sarah Logan, Liv Morgan, Alicia Fox and Alexa Bliss. The crowd seemed to get hotter as the night went on.

Main event time: WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler defended against Roman Reigns. Drew McIntyre accompanied Dolph and can’t keep from being involved. Crowd is 50/50 for Reigns. Roman got a pop for his babyface comeback, but then the crowd was still split. McIntyre gets tossed from ringside by the referee and after that the crowd seemed to get behind Roman. Dolph was absolutely phenomenal in the match. There were near fall moments after near fall moments and the crowd erupted for those. Ziggler attempted a superkick, but Reigns countered with a Superman punch and the crowd legitimately thought it was over. Reigns hits the spear but at the two count, McIntyre runs back down for the DQ. The crowd was waiting for Rollins, but no.
