WWE Reportedly Abandons Pursuit of ‘The Collective’ Trademark
June 8, 2021 | Posted by
– As previously noted, WWE reportedly filed a trademark on “The Collective” in December for the purposes of “wrestling exhibitions and performances.” However, GCW had previously been using The Collective to promote its series of shows that usually run during WrestleMania weekend. According to an update from PWInsider, WWE is said to have abandoned pursuit of the trademark earlier this month.
WWE reportedly stopped pursuing the registration of the trademark on June 4. The company had initially filed the trademark on December 15, 2020 with the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
