WWE Reportedly Didn’t Know About Chris Jericho vs. Kenny Omega At WrestleKingdom 12

Wrestlezone reports that WWE did not know that Chris Jericho was going to challenge Kenny Omega for a match at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 12. WWE didn’t find out about the challenge until it aired on NJPW’s Power Struggle this past Saturday.

However, as we previously noted, Jericho is a free agent and not under contract to the WWE, so he didn’t have to tell them what he was doing.
