WWE Sets NXT Six-Man Tag Match During Super Bowl Halftime Show

– WWE has its own Super Bowl halftime show set, and it involves six NXT stars. During the Royal Rumble Kickoff Show, Shawn Michaels announced that Aleister Black, Velveteen Dream and Ricochet will team up against Tomasso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano and Adam Cole in a six-man tag-team match.

The match will take place during the Super Bowl halftime next Sunday and plays off the brawl between the stars after last night’s NXT Takeover: Phoenix. Michaels will be at the announce table to call the action.

The move comes as WWE’s Vince McMahon is preparing to relaunch the XFL for a 2020 inaugural season. XFL is in said to be in talks with FOX and ESPN for broadcast rights.
