More Details On WWE’s Short Term Plan For NXT Call-Ups
As we’ve previously noted, the top four NXT stars made their debuts on RAW and Smackdown this week, including Ricochet, Aleister Black, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano. While the talent is reportedly afraid of losing their spots and not sure what to make of the situation, WWE appears to have a short term plan in place for the new names. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio (via Ringside News said that all four men will continue to work NXT, as well as the two other shows.
He added: “So those guys are going to be working RAW, SmackDown, and NXT at least for now and being put over like crazy on all of them.”
NXT is set to hold new TV tapings this week, which should give some more insight on what the next NXT Takeover card will look like. It’s possible (but not confirmed) this could be the last Takeover for these four before they’re on the main roster for good.
