WWE Smackdown Rating Holds Even, Viewership Ticks Down

– The rating for this week’s Smackdown stayed steady from last week’s post-WrestleMania high, while viewership slipped slightly. Tuesday night’s episode brought in a 0.98 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 2.796 million viewers. Those metrics are even with and down 5% respectively from last week’s 0.98 demo rating and 2.952 million viewers. The viewership, while down a bit from last week, is still an improvement from the 2.467 million viewers from two weeks ago before WrestleMania.
Smackdown ranked #3 among cable originals for the night per Showbuzz Daily, behind the two NBA playoff games on TNT. Those games scored a 1.27 demo rating with 2.906 million viewers and a 1.17 with 2.880 million viewers.
