WWE Smackdown Rating Hits Lowest FOX Point Since May, Viewership Down

Last week’s WWE Smackdown saw the rating fall to its lowest point on FOX since late May, while the viewership also slipped. Friday’s episode scored a 0.53 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 2.094 million viewers per Wrestlenomics. Those numbers are down 18.5% and 14.3% respectively from the previous week’s 0.65 demo rating and audience of 2.443 million.
The demo rating was the lowest on FOX since the May 26th episode brought in a 0.52; there was a lower episode on July 21st, though that was for a FOX Sports 1 airing so it’s not comparable. The total audience matched the August 18th episode.
Smackdown is averaging a 0.604 demo rating and 2.296 million viewers in 2023, compared to a 0.517 demo rating and 2.129 million viewers for the same time period in 2022.
