Your ring announcer was Justin Roberts. The guest hostess was AJ.

Match 1 – Money in the Bank Battle Royal. The winner faces John Cena for the WWE Championship later tonight. Participants were Rey Mysterio, The Miz, Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, Sin Cara, Heath Slater, Alberto Del Rio, Evan Bourne, Daniel Bryan, Justin Gabriel, Jack Swagger, Sheamus, Kane, and Alex Riley. Smackdown superstars came out to the SD theme, and same for the Raw superstars respectively. Sin Cara was out first, and did the trampoline entrance, successfully. Very fun opener. It took awhile before anyone was eliminated. After a few were eliminated, we had a face off between Mysterio and Cara. They went back and forth for a bit, and after a stalemate, Miz caught Cara off guard and threw him out. The final four were Mysterio, Miz, Sheamus, and Del Rio. Rey took out Sheamus with a reverse 619, and I believe surprised Del Rio with a rana to eliminate him. Finally, Miz and Rey fought on the apron, and Miz knocked Rey off for the win. A fun match to start the show.

AJ came out to announce a contest for the audience, but the Bella Twins came out to berate her. Eve Torres and Beth Phoenix made the save. The GM sent an email to Justin Roberts phone, and a tag team match is on.

Match 2 – Eve Torres and Beth Phoenix defeated the Bella Twins. OK stuff. After Beth dominated first, the twins ganged up on her, and spent most of the match weakening her down. This included taking her headband and mocking her. Eve eventually tagged in to clean house, and hit her finisher on one for the win.

Match 3 – IC Championship – Ezekiel Jackson defeated Cody Rhodes to retain. Cody came out first with his bag guy, who handed out a few bags to some fans. He cut a promo to berate us, and how he was going to not only win the title tonight, but then win Money in the Bank tomorrow. To start the match, Cody wanted Ezekiel to put on the bag, and he acted like he was going to, only to rip it up. OK match. They worked hard, but they just didn’t click well. Ezekiel won with his multiple body slams, followed by the Torture Rack.

Match 4 – World Heavyweight Championship – Randy Orton defeated Christian to retain. Christian came out first to berate Milwaukee, saying how Milwaukee has no championships, while Christian at least has one. Huge pop for Orton. By far, this was my favorite match of the night, going about 15 minutes. As they had faced each other so often lately, the match was full of counters, which I really enjoyed. While the finish wasn’t in doubt, which was Christian jumping from the second rope into an RKO, the match never seemed predictable.

AJ came back out. Four fans came in the ring for a dance contest. BTW, they were not told it would be a dance off until everyone was in the ring. The first woman was OK. The second woman, who admitted that she couldn’t dance, tried to be unique by climbing the ropes (which led to the ref scrambling to keep her off, no doubt due to insurance concerns) and dancing with Justin. The third guy in a Stone Cold shirt wasn’t much. Finally, a little kid did some entertaining moves, and was the landslide winner. He got to go to the back to meet John Cena.

Intermission

Match 5 – US Championship – Dolph Ziggler defeated Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne to retain. Dolph cut a promo before the match, and it was actually pretty similar to Christian’s. It was the usual good stuff you’d expect from all three. Kofi and Evan obviously teamed up on Dolph at the beginning, until Evan sucker kicked Kofi. After that, it was what you’d expect in a triple threat match, as the three rotated to fight one-on-one. Dolph won clean over Kofi with the Zig Zag. Afterward, Dolph wanted to hit Kofi with the title belt, but ate a Trouble in Paradise, followed by Evan’s Air Bourne.

Match 6 – Big Show and Kane defeated Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater. It was what it was. The big guys easily handled their opponents one on two. Then Gabriel and Slater got to Kane for a bit, before Big Show cleaned house. Stereo chokeslams ended it. Then, Great Khali and Jinder Mahal came out for some reason. Khali went down with one punch, and Jinder ate a double chokeslam. Pointless.

Match 7 – WWE Championship – John Cena defeated The Miz to retain. Miz cut a promo and was quick to the point. It was what you would expect from Cena, as he was beat up during most of it, and kicked out of the Skull Crushing Finale and a belt shot. But of course, Cena would win with the AA. Cena fans would enjoy it, but for the rest of us, it was meh.

Notes: The National Guard had a presence outside the arena, which included a rock climbing set…Standard set with Raw and Smackdown backdrops were used…The ring had white ropes…Attendance was pretty low. No one was in the upper deck, and I’d say the lower level was 3/4 filled at best. Under 10,000, and maybe closer to 8,000….No mention of CM Punk at all…Show went about 2:40, including an intermission…No return date announced.
