WWE Talent Reportedly Happy With PPV Schedule Announcement
As reported earlier today, WWE revealed their entire PPV schedule for 2022, which includes the news that Wrestlemania will be two nights over April 2-3.
Fightful Select spoke with over a dozen wrestlers in WWE who said they are happy with the news. Wrestlemania happening over two nights is a well-received change as it will be easier on the wrestlers, particularly with media appearances. The addition of more Saturday shows during football season was seen positively as well, with several Smackdown wrestlers happy about it.
Meanwhile, it’s believed that the September show will be in the UK and the planned events in February and October will be Saudi Arabia shows. WWE is putting an “increased focus” on stadium events and “becoming a destination.”
