Zack Sabre Jr. Set to Put G1 Climax Slot on the Line Against YOSHI-HASHI on June 25

– NJPW has announced that Zack Sabre Jr. will put his G1 Climax 29 slot up for grabs against YOSHI-HASHI for the last night of Kizuna Road 2019. The card is set for June 25 in Sendai, Japan. Sabre is also defending his British Heavyweight Championship against YOSHI-HASHI at the event.
YOSHI-HASHI recently managed to get a victory for CHAOS after throwing Sabre Jr. over the top rope at Korakuen on June 17 in a main event elimination match between CHAOS and Suzuki-gun. After the match, YOSHI-HASHI challenged Zack Sabre to put his G1 spot on the line for their upcoming title match.
This marks the first time in history a G1 Climax entry spot will be on the line for a match in NJPW.
