Thiago Moises vs. EJ Chavez Set For RFA 38

MMA Junkie reports that RFA lightweight champion Thiago Moises (7-1) will meet EJ Chavez (10-2) at RFA 38. The event happens on June 3 at the Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, California. It airs on AXS TV.

RFA President Ed Soares said: “I’m excited about bringing another world title fight to Orange County. Thiago Moises won the RFA lightweight title in February with a helicopter armbar that should win ‘Submission of the Year.’ He will defend his title for the first time at RFA 38 against E.J. Chavez, who won ‘Fight of the Year’ from the RFA fans for his performance in our last main event in Orange County.“
