Stephen Thompson spoke with MMAjunkie ahead of his fight with Tyron Woodley at UFC 205. Some highlights are below:
On not going in looking for a knockout in his fights: “I never go out looking for the knockout because sometimes when it doesn’t happen, it can mess with you.”
On being happy he went five rounds in his win over Rory MacDonald: “To prove to myself and everybody else that I do have the gas tank to do that.”
