Scott Coker Says Michael Chandler Will Get Next Shot at Brent Primus

Patricky Friere may have designs on a fight with Brent Primus, but Bellator head Scott Coker says Michael Chandler will get there first. Coker told MMAjunkie that Chandler is targeted for the next shot at Primus.

“We’ve been waiting for Chandler to fight Primus again,” Coker told the site after Bellator 183. “(Primus’) wife is having a baby, and we’re very respectful of that. We’re waiting for him, and when he’s ready to re-engage, I think Chandler should be the first one.”

Primus had responded on Twitter on Saturday to Friere’s claims that he had been ducking him, posting:
