Io Shirai Reportedly Dealing With An Injury

Fightful Select reports that the reason Io Shirai has not been on WWE TV in recent weeks is that she has been out of action with an injury. The exact details of the injury or how severe it is were not disclosed from a WWE source. However, the source said that she is not a part of any creative plans for the moment.
Shirai is said to be “well liked” in both NXT and WWE. Sources say that WWE is hopeful she will be good to go “in the summer”, but that isn’t 100%.
