Gates Of Agony React To NJPW World Tag League Loss To HOUSE OF TORTURE

The Gates Of Agony were defeated in the NJPW World Tag League by HOUSE OF TORTURE on Friday, and Kaun and Toa Liona cut a post-match promo reacting to the loss. The Gates had briefly joined the group earlier this week but turned on them soon after leading up to Friday’s match, which saw HOUSE OF TORTURE use weapons and a low blow to pick up the win.

After the match, NJPW posted a promo from the Gates reacting to the loss which you can check out below.

“To defeat the enemy, you gotta become the enemy,” Bishop Kaun said (per Fightful). “We surveyed the landscape, and from day one, we were outnumbered by Bullet Club. By day one, we were outnumbered by HOUSE OF TORTURE. But EVIL, you are so arrogant and so greedy, we walked right through your door and we were going to set ablaze, we were going to burn your house down. It took obscene tactics, it took obscene actions for y’all to defeat us. It took all five of you to defeat us. You feared the Gates. Former IWGP Heavyweight Champion EVIL, SHO, you had everybody out there. Dick Togo, you had a low blow, kill the ref, use weapons, to defeat us. You had to do everything to pin me. ”

Kaun continued, “This is not our last time in the World Tag League. I don’t care if it’s it’s the Rogue Army. I don’t care if it’s the HOUSE OF TORTURE. I don’t care if it’s the War Dogs. I don’t care if it’s Bullet Club Gold. Because it’s always and forever…”
