Tom Lawlor Confirms He Will Need Hip Replacement Surgery

As previously reported, Tom Lawlor confirmed that he is dealing with some health issues that will require surgery. In an interview with Wrestling Observer Live, Lawlor said that he will have to have hip replacement surgery, as his left hip in particular has severe damage.

He said: “I went to a local medical facility. A local medical professional took a look at me. He took a look at these scans that I’ve had done and he said, ‘You know what, Filthy Tom Lawlor? If you walked in to the nursing home right now, there are 90 year old women who would rightfully have pity upon the shape that your left hip is in. He said the right’s not great either, but the left side’s so bad that there’s just a ton of bone spurs that have pushed the hip out of the socket.”

He noted last month that he may also need back surgery at some point.
