Aleister Black Defeats Damian Priest On WWE Smackdown After Zelina Vega Gets Involved

Aleister Black was able to put away Damian Priest in their Last Man Standing Match on WWE Smackdown, thanks to an intercession from Zelina Vega. The main event of Friday Night’s episode saw the two heated rivals do battle under the stipulation, which proved to be a back-and-forth battle which went past the ring.

Toward the end of the match, Priest was in control and took Black out of the ringside area onto some equipment boxes. Priest looked ready to put Black away and suplexed him onto a box, but Black beat the count. Vega, who is Black’s real-life wife, then showed up and pleaded Priest for mercy. Priest refused to relent and Vega backed off, but the moment gave Black enough time to recover and launch a fireball into Priest’s face. Black then hit the Black Mass and sent Priest through a couple of tables on the floor, leading to his being unable to answer the 10-count.

Priest and Black have been feuding for the last several months, with the two having been even in wins with one apiece before tonight. Black’s win puts him over the top.

Vega and Black are the latest real-life couples to be acknowledged in WWE storylines with Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch allied on Raw, where they battled against CM Punk and AJ Lee at WrestlePalooza in September.
