Microsoft is claiming that Sony has agreements with publishers to keep games including the Silent Hill 2 remake and more to release on Xbox. Rely On Horror reports that in a response to the FTC’s lawsuit against it over the acquisition of Activision-Blizzard in which is claims Sony has “entered into arrangements with third-party publishers which require the “exclusion” of Xbox from the set of platforms these publishers can distribute their games on.”

Among the games listed by Microsoft are Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Remake and the upcoming Final Fantasy XVI, From Software’s Bloodborne, and the Silent Hill 2 remake (though the latter is incorrectly referred to as “Silent Hill 2 remastered”).

Silent Hill 2’s remake was originally advertised as a timed exclusive that will be arriving on Xbox at a later date, though it’s not clear if things have changed in that regard.
