The long-awaited sequel to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is finally a reality. Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive announced the project during The Game Awards and released a new CG trailer, which you can view below.

The original Space Marine game was developed by Relic Entertainment and published by THQ in September 2011, just over 10 years ago.

The upcoming, third-person action game is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Windows PC. The new trailer reveals the start of the next chapter for Captain Titus of the Space Marines, along with an early glimpse at the new gameplay.

Clive Standen (Vikings, Taken) will be stepping into the role of Captain Titus for the sequel, replacing actor Mark Strong, who voiced Titus in the original game. As Captain Titus, players will be able to use deadly abilities and an arsenal of devastating weapons against the Tyranid hordes, fight back the horrors of the galaxy, uncover various dark secrets and drive back the everlasting night in an effort to prove your loyalty to humanity.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 does not yet have an official release date. Gamers can sign up for updates and offers for Space Marine 2 at Focus’ official website.
