Artem Lobov vs. Chris Avila Set For UFC 202

As we reported yesterday, it was rumored that a fight between Artem Lobov (11-12-1 MMA, 0-2 UFC) and Chris Avila (5-2 MMA, 0-0 UFC) would happen at UFC 202. Now MMA Junkie reports that the UFC has confirmed the fight will happen. It’s an interesting matchup because Lobov is the training partner of Conor McGregor while Avila is the training partner of Nate Diaz. McGregor and Diaz will meet in the UFC 202 main event.
