Benson Henderson Signs New Deal With Bellator

November 15, 2018 | Posted by Joseph Lee

MMA Junkie reports that Benson Henderson has signed a new “exclusive, long-term deal” with Bellator MMA after finishing his previous deal with a win over Saad Awad in October at Bellator 208.

He joined Bellator in 2016 and started with a loss to then-welterweight champion Andrey Koreshkov. He dropped to 155 and got a TKO win over Patricio Freire. That was followed by a loss to lightweight champion Michael Chandler by split decision, followed by another split decision loss to Patricky Freire in September 2017. He then came back with wins over Awad and Roger Huerta. He also had surgery late last year to fix a torn ACL that he fought with in his back to back losses. After that, he went 2-0.
