Brennan Ward Shares Graphic Pic of Bellator 170 Eye Injury

Brennan Ward has shared a a picture of his particularly nasty-looking cut suffered at the hands of Paul Daley at Bellator 170. You can check out the photo below via reporter Mike Bohn, which was posted to Ward’s Instagram account.

Ward suffered the injury due to a flying knee strike from Daley, which knocked Ward out and ended the co-main event of the show. Daley has said that the aftermath of the win was tough, noting, “To get a victory, it was kind of mixed emotions. The first two minutes was running around like a headless chicken and going crazy. And then I look across, and I see his girlfriend, and she’s crying. It was hard. I just hope he’s OK.”
