UFC fighter Cynthia Calvillo has been suspended for nine months by the NSAC over a positive drug test for marijuana stemming from her UFC 219 loss. The NSAC confirmed on Tuesday (per MMAjunkie) that Calvillo has been fined 15% of her $41,000 fight purse and suspended nine months for the positive result, retroactive to December 30th when the test was administered.

The suspension is three months longer than the suspension issued by the US Anti-Doping Agency over the test failure. She will be eligible to apply for another license on September 30th. She must submit a clean drug test for steroids and diuretics thirty days, fifteen days and three days before receiving a fight license in the state of Nevada.
