Drew Dober vs. Jon Tuck Cleared For UFC Fight Night 135

Drew Dober vs. Jon Tuck has been cleared for UFC Fight Night 135 after the CSAC removed a requirement that Dober fight at at a minimum of 165 pounds. MMAjunkie reports that the fight has been cleared, with Dober set to fight at lightweight. The Nebraska State Athletic Commissioncommission will check Dober’s weight on fight day and will inform the CSAC of the result, but NSAC Deputy State Athletic Commissioner Brian Dunn noted that it’s “just going to be for informational purposes.”

Dober did a weight check on Thursday and weighed in at 168 pounds, according to CSAC Executive Director Andy Foster. The CSAC had recommended that Dober fight ten pounds heavier than his vowed weight of 155.

UFC Fight Night 135 takes place on August 25th in Lincoln, Nebraska. The main card airs live on FOX Sports 1 after preliminary fights on FOX Sports 2 and UFC Fight Pass.
