Fabricio Werdum Suspended For Two Years by USADA

Fabricio Werdum will be out of action for two years due to sanction by the US Anti-Doping Agency over his failed drug test. The USADA announced (per MMAjunkie that Werdum has been suspended for two years over the out-of-competition urine test conducted on April 25, which revealed the presence of the steroid trenbolone and its metabolite epitrenbolone.

Werdum’s suspension is retroactive to May 22nd, which is the date he was flagged. That makes him eligible to fight again on May 22, 2020.

Werdum has yet to comment on the suspension.
