Gegard Mousasi Open to Rematch With King Mo Next

New Bellator MMA middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi spoke to reporters after his title win at Bellator 200 (via MMAjunkie). He said he’s open to a title rematch with Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal. Lawal previously defeated Mousasi for the light heavyweight title in Strikeforce. Below are some highlights.

Gegard Mousasi on a possible rematch with King Mo: “100 percent (I’d have a rematch). That’s a good fight. But I heard, I don’t know if that’s true, but they said he can’t make middleweight. Obviously coming to middleweight that would be a good challenger. He’s a contender.”

His thoughts on Muhammed Lawal: “He’s a world-class fighter. He was the first guy I really didn’t like because he was so annoying. But I respect him as a fighter. (We fought) at light heavyweight. But he was strong, he was really strong. But like I said the next fight he got popped for steroids. If he’s clean and he’s the contender, for sure. But I do respect him and I have (no) bad wishes.”
