Speaking at the post-fight press conference for UFC Fight Night 117 (via MMAjunkie), UFC fighter Gokhan Saki discussed his Performance of the Night win over Henrique da Silva on the main card. Below are some highlights from the presser.

Saki on coming back to fighting after a long layoff: “I stopped for two-and-a-half years, and I’m not back just to take part in the UFC and tell people I’m a UFC fighter. I’m here to take over.”

Saki on wanting knockouts: “I’m here to knock people out. This is what I’m missing in my life. That’s why I’m here. I’m ready for any fight.”

On how he hits: “When you get hit, that’s not a good feeling. But when I get hit, I love to give two or three back. That was the situation today.”

Saki on his message to the UFC roster: “Be ready, mother(expletive). I’m coming. I’m here. Today was a good test for me; it was a good fight.”
