Hello everyone and welcome to 411mania’s LIVE coverage of UFC Fight Night: Hooker vs. Parnasse, I’m Robert Winfree and I’ll be your host. The UFC returns to Paris for this event and they’ve brought a pretty decent card. In the main event Salahdine Parnasse makes his UFC debut against veteran battler Dan Hooker. Hooker is trying to hold the line against Parnasse who’s got a bit of hype after a very good run through KSW and a nice performance on the Rousey vs. Carano card for MVP MMA. We’ve also got Michael “Venom” Page in action, Daniil Donchenko vs. Punahele Soriano has violence written all over it, Losene Keita vs. Muhammad Naimov, and Nathaniel Wood in action. The card might be a little overstuffed but there’s only a couple of fights that look genuinely poor on paper, now let’s just hope the action delivers.
UFC Fight Night: Hooker vs. Parnasse comes to the world from the Accor Arena in Paris, France. On commentary we have John Gooden, Michael Bisping, and Paul Felder with McKenzie Pavacich as our roving reporter and Joe Martinez handling announcing duties. We’ll be in the usual 30 foot cage, and I’m pretty sure under the newest ruleset but we’ll have to wait and see a bit and I’ll keep this section updated.
Delphine Benouaich appeared on the most recent season of TUF, for whatever that’s worth, but is making her UFC debut here after a respectable run in Ares FC and now tries make a good first impression in her native country. Sofia Montenegro suffered a loss on the Contender Series but got a contract anyway and now is looking to make the most of her UFC debut opportunity. Benouaich is the slight favorite at -135 to +115 for Montenegro.
Strawweight Bout: Delphine Benouaich (7-2, 115 lbs.) vs. Sofia Montenegro (6-2, 115 lbs.)
ROUND ONE: Montenegro is three inches taller with four inches of reach advantage. Both women show punches early, nothing quite landing yet. Montenegro lands a calf kick but eats a counter right. Right uppercut then a left hook from Benouaich. Montenegro lands a bit of a combination. Jab then a body kick from Benouaich. Both women trade in close again. Benouaich is starting to show a left up elbow to intercept Montenegro on distance crashes. Combination from Benouaich, Montenegro lands a knee to intercept though. Jab from Benouaich, Montenegro fires back until they get to a clinch and both women fire knees then elbows before breaking. Montenegro with a combination of punches then a calf kick. Hard right from Benouaich drops Montenegro, Benouaich gets on top and swings elbows then punches. Montenegro has half guard but Benouaich passes to full mount and continues unloading elbows from top position. Montenegro is cut up now and Benouaich is still battering her. Benouaich gets onto a hip and keeps unloading as Montenegro leaks blood all over the place. Montenegro gives up the back, Benouaich gets the choke and puts her to sleep.
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – Delphine Benouaich via Technical Submission, rear naked choke, at 4:22 of Round 2
Exciting fight and a very bloody finish as Montenegro has cuts above and below her right eye and above her left. Mic time for Benouaich and the translator, she plays with the crowd a bit then tries English to say she knew the fight would be tough and puts over Montenegro. She thanks her team then says debuting in France like this tastes like honey.
The finish can be seen HERE.
Luis Felipe Dias is on a four fight winning streak including his UFC debut back in May, he’s looking to burn through his Contender Series as quickly as possible and another win would help him with that endeavor. Matthieu Duclos is also on a four fight winning streak, though his has simply gotten him to the UFC, but the chance to extend that streak while also debuting in his home country is a good deal overall. Very close one here, -120 on Duclos to and even +100 on Dias.

The First Round Finish Club thanks Mr. Duclos for his work. Mic time for Duclos and the translator, he says he’s here to deliver knockouts and put on great performances. He talks us through the finish and puts over his opponent. To close he puts over France and wants to keep it French.
LEFT HOOK FINDS THE MARK 👊
Matthieu Duclos earns the TKO right at the end of R1!

Klaudia Sygula has gone 2-1 in the UFC but she’s on a two fight winning streak and a third here could see her push into the rankings. Another very close fight, -120 on Sygula to +100 for Cornolle.

Fabia Sintes brings a seven fight winning streak into his UFC debut, he’s looking to extend that streak here and get his UFC career started with a win. Michael Aljarouj has his own seven fight unbeaten streak going, though most recently he fought to a No Contest, but he’s another of the debuting Frenchmen here who get the happy circumstance of debuting in their home country. The odds tilt towards Aljarouj at -125 to a +105 comeback on Sintes.

SCORECARD: 10-9 Sintes, 29-28 Sintes overall
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – Fabia Sintes via unanimous decision (29-27, 29-28 x2)
Sintes made that closer at the end than he needed to with that overly ambitious d’arce attack, but a good fight overall. No interview for Sintes.
Nathaniel Wood has been with the UFC since 2018 and since moving to featherweight in 2022 he’s gone 7-1 only dropping a decision to Muhammad Naimov. Wood has struggled to really gain upward momentum despite his current four fight winning streak, another win here would go a long way towards getting him a bigger name for his next opponent. Pavel Andrusca is undefeated coming into his UFC debut, but he took this fight on very short notice and besting Wood is difficult even at the best of times. That said Andrusca has a chance to announce himself in a major way if he can get the win. Wood is a pretty solid favorite at -300 to a +240 payout on Andrusca.
Featherweight Bout: Nathaniel Wood (23-6, 146 lbs.) vs. Pavel Andrusca (8-0, 146 lbs.)

Wood’s down to his last 60 seconds to find a finish. A few body blows from Andrusca then an elbow to the head. The round ends with Andrusca still punching in uppercuts and a brief flurry to the seated Wood.
SCORECARD: 10-9 Andrusca, 29-28 Andrusca overall
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – Pavel Andrusca via unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27 x2)
I can see Andrusca getting the second despite being dropped, Wood has this really unfortunate habit of getting about a knockdown in every fight but being unable to finish. No interview for Andrusca.
Oumar Sy has gone 3-2 in the UFC, most recently he got choked out by Ion Cutelaba and now he’s trying to avoid his first losing streak. Modestas Bukauskas has gone 5-1 in his last six fights with the only loss in that stretch coming to Nikita Krylov, now he’s trying to build another winning streak and make some genuine headway in the light heavyweight division. The odds are with Sy at -240 to a +195 comeback on Bukauskas.

Sy keeps unloading, Bukauskas wall walks though into a clinch as the round ends.
SCORECARD: 10-9 Sy
ROUND TWO: Immediate takedown from Sy as Bukauskas over commits on a strike. Sy moves to side control. A few short blows from Sy land, Bukauskas tries to tie up a leg then eats an uppercut but he is able to stand. Sy tries another takedown, that hits the fence but he still finishes it after a bit. Half guard for Sy, Bukauskas quickly wall walks but he’s still stuck in a clinch with Sy on his back. Sy drags things back down but Bukauskas spins to get on top in side control. Bukauskas moves to the ride and swings some punches. Sy wall walks into a clinch and both men swing punches in close. Knee from Bukauskas then Sy shoots but Bukauskas sprawls and grabs a front headlock. Anaconda attack from Bukauskas but Sy easily counters and they clinch up again. Knees from Sy. Knee from Bukauskas drops Sy, Sy just covers up against the fence and Bukauskas unloads to get the stoppage.
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – Modestas Bukauskas via TKO, knee and punches, at 3:57 of Round 2
Mic time for Bukauskas, he wasn’t fully expecting a wrestling heavy fight from Sy which just means he doesn’t watch enough tape. He puts over Sy and the crowd even though they were booing him he loves the energy every time he gets to fight in France. He talks us through the finish to close.
THE KNEE STARTS THE END OF THIS ONE 💪
Modestas Bukauskas lands a massive shot to get the R2 TKO!

Mario Pinto is undefeated including three UFC wins, he somewhat disappointed in his last fight despite getting the win and now he’s trying to regain hype as well as remain perfect. Ryan Spann has gone 2-1 since moving to heavyweight last year, he also now finds himself on a two fight winning streak and a third win here would set him up nicely for a bigger name next. Pinto is the favorite at -325, while a +260 payout on Spann might tempt some bettors out there.
Heavyweight Bout: Mario Pinto (12-0, 252 lbs.) vs. Ryan Spann (24-11, 255 lbs.)
ROUND ONE: These two have identical heights reaches according to the official measurements. Both men land rights early, they’re just swinging. ROUND TWO: Pinto comes out and fires punches then a knee into a clinch. Outside trip from Pinto to get on top. Spann to turtle, Pinto back to the ride and lands hammer fists and punches. Spann is just hanging out and Pinto lands enough punches to get the ref to step in.
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – Mario Pinto via TKO, punches, at :55 of Round 2
Mic time for Pinto, he plays with the crowd a bit then says he feels good and while he didn’t deliver a war last time he did this time. He wants a bonus, then basically calls out the bad state of the heavyweight division and thinks it’s getting great again. Love is sent to God and his family, then like every fighter he wildly misunderstands the “are you not entertained” line from Gladiator.
Bing, Bang, BOOOSSHH

Losene Keita is a former lightweight and featherweight champion from Oktagon, he dropped a close split decision to Nathaniel Wood in his UFC debut earlier this year and now looks to get that all important first UFC win under his belt. He calls out Lerone Murphy and warns he’s coming for him. He talks us through the finish and says this is what he’s capable of and no one in the division is safe. To close he plays with the crowd, sends love to France and Belgium, then wishes his son a happy birthday.

Kurtis Campbell debuted back in March to a bit of hype, then promptly exhausted himself wrestling in the first round before getting knocked out 31 seconds into the second round. Campbell can’t make another first impression, but he can try to improve his standing by getting his first UFC win. Trevor Peek has gone 2-3 in the UFC and is on a two fight losing streak, he’s also been out of action since September of 2024 so he badly needs a win and to stay more active going forward. It’s not surprising to see Campbell as a -400 favorite to a +310 comeback on Peek.
Featherweight Bout: Kurtis Campbell (8-1, 146 lbs.) vs. Trevor Peek (9-3 1 NC, 146 lbs.)
ROUND ONE: These two are the same height while Campbell has two inches of reach advantage, Campbell is also 7 years younger at just 21. Both men come out kicking. Bit of a head kick from Campbell and he avoids the wild hooks from Peek. Peek lands a right hand but Peek is cut around the right eyebrow. Peek’s cheek is also visibly and badly swelling up. Campbell lands a right hand then a body kick that bothers Peek. Front kick from Campbell, those are killing Peek already. They tie up, Peek lands a knee to the body. Campbell gets a takedown and moves to the ride, he lands a knee then hits a mat return. Peek keeps wall walking but Campbell is mat returning him constantly. Eventually Peek gets chest to chest then threatens a switch but Campbell punches him and pushes him back into the fence. Campbell to the back standing and lands a knee to the head. More mat returns from Campbell then he moves to full mount during transition. Elbows from Campbell now. Peek gets to a hip but Campbell is all over him with offense. Campbell gets to the ride then back to mount. Peek keeps trying to scramble, but Campbell gets back to the ride. Both hooks for Campbell, Peek gives up full mount though and he eats a few more elbows before the round ends.
SCORECARD: 10-8 Campbell
ROUND TWO: Peek comes forward and swings some punches to the body. Campbell gets a clinch and pushes things to the fence then slips to the back standing again. Double leg from Campbell, then he moves to the ride again. Campbell is flowing nicely on top and sneaking in some strikes. Peek blocks the second hook going in and stands then gets chest to chest. Campbell hits an outside trip and then jumps to the ride. Campbell starts fishing for a choke, he gets both hooks in but Peek rolls to get half guard. Peek moves to a hip, and Campbell gets both hooks in again. Body triangle for Campbell and he starts going for the choke. A few punches from Campbell but nothing serious. Peek really doesn’t have a great answer to the body triangle. The round ends with Campbell moving to full mount.
SCORECARD: 10-8 Campbell again as Peek’s offense is almost non-existent, 20-16 Campbell overall
ROUND THREE: Peek moves forward early, he hits the body then sprawls away from a takedown. Campbell lands a head kick. Front kick from Campbell. Peek avoids another takedown then lands a couple of jabs. Campbell tries a single leg, that hits the fence though and Peek defends so Campbell switches to an ankle pick and is able to slip to the back in transition. Now Campbell climbs to the ride and looks to keep Peek down. Campbell looks for a choke as he’s got both hooks in again. Body triangle now for Campbell but he loses the choke attack. Campbell finally gets a choke locked across the jaw and after a bit is able to compress things to get the tap.

Punahele Soriano is currently on a four fight winning streak since dropping to welterweight back in 2024, and if he can get to five in a row here it could set him up for a bigger name or even a ranked opponent next. Daniil Donchenko is on a nine fight winning streak including being 3-0 in the UFC with all of those being pretty engaging affairs, he’s looking to also prove he’s ready for a step to bigger names with another win. Inside leg kick from Donchenko. Soriano misses a high kick. Left hook then an inside leg kick from Donchenko. Donchenko lands a knee in close. Bit of a calf kick from Donchenko. Soriano with a left hand that falls a little short. Body jab from Donchenko. Left hook from Donchenko in close as both men exchanged, during that Soriano took a kick low so we’ve got a time out. SCORECARD: 10-9 Soriano but could go the other way, 29-28 Donchenko overall
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – Daniil Donchenko via unanimous decision (29-28, 30-27 x2)
Mic time for Donchenko, he speaks some French for the crowd and puts over Soriano before saying he’ll get a finish in his next fight. To close he calls out Daniel Rodriguez, which is a very reasonable name.
Michael Page has gone 4-1 in the UFC and is on a three fight winning streak, despite that he seems to be not quite firing in the UFC the way he was in Bellator and he likely needs a memorable win here to start negotiating for a better deal. Nursulton Ruziboev hasn’t lost at middleweight since October of 2016, his other losses since then have come at welterweight, he’s currently on a three fight winning streak and is looking to get his highest profile to date here. The odds lean towards Page at -190 while that +160 on Ruziboev has to tempt some bettors out there.
Middleweight Bout: #15 Michael Page (25-3, 185 lbs.) vs. Nursulton Ruziboev (37-9-2 2 NC, 186 lbs.)
ROUND ONE: Ruziboev is two inches taller while Page has three inches of reach advantage, Page is also 7 years older. Immediate takedown from Ruziboev into side control. Page tries a Buggy choke, but I feel like the finishing mechanics aren’t there on it right now. Yeah Page bails on that, but moves to full guard. A few short elbows from Ruziboev land. Not much going on here, Ruziboev is doing just enough to keep the ref out of things but isn’t really working to pass or landing anything super damaging. Still not much happening, Ruziboev tries some shoulder strikes but nothing doing there then Page slips free. Page misses an overhand right. Another side kick to the knee from Page, Ruziboev catches it and tries a takedown but Page defends this time. Page misses a leaping knee. Bit of a right hand from Page. Misdirection elbow from Page lands to end the round.
SCORECARD: 10-9 Page, 19-19 overall
ROUND THREE: Page avoids a right hand to start the round. Good right hand from Page bothers Ruziboev for a second. They’re talking to each other a lot as Ruziboev keeps backing up. Page jabs the body, Ruziboev tries a single leg but that hits the fence. Ruziboev with a second effort does get the takedown. Page wall walks pretty quickly into a clinch. They stall out, Ruziboev then knees Page in the groin so we’ve got a time out. Page doesn’t want much time so we’re back to fighting at distance. A few body jabs from Page. Bit of a right hand from Page. Both men land rights, Ruziboev might have been a little wobbled there. Glancing right hand from Page. Page misses a wheel kick. Ruziboev misses a right hand and they clinch up, which is where the round will end.
SCORECARD: 10-9 Page, 29-28 Page overall
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – Michael Page via unanimous decision (29-28 x3)
No interview for Page.
Fares Ziam just had a six fight winning streak broken a few months back, now he’s trying to avoid his first losing streak and prove he’s still poised to make a serious run through the division. Axel Sola has gone 2-1 in the UFC, he is coming off of a win though and now looks to build his first UFC winning streak while working to establish himself as a notable prospect. Pretty close one here, -155 on Ziam to Sola’s +130 comeback.

Salahdine Parnasse is making his UFC debut here, he’s on a five fight winning streak, is a former featherweight and lightweight champion from KSW plus challenged for the KSW welterweight title in 2023 in a losing effort. Parnasse now looks to make a good first impression on the UFC audience and remain unbeaten at lightweight as his two losses have come at featherweight and the aforementioned welterweight loss. Dan Hooker is kind of an old warhorse at this point, he’s been with the UFC since 2014 and has fought at both featherweight and lightweight. Hooker has been involved in some truly memorable fights, his fight with Edson Barboza or the war with Dustin Poirier easily come to mind, but he’s 3-4 in his last seven fights and is currently on a two fight losing streak. Hooker is trying to turn back the newcomer in Parnasse and prove he’s still got enough miles in the tank to remain a valuable member of the roster. Parnasse is the biggest favorite on the card at -575 against Hooker’s +425.
Lightweight Bout: #10 Dan Hooker (24-14, 155 lbs.) vs. Salahdine Parnasse (23-2, 155 lbs.)
ROUND ONE: Hooker is two inches taller with three and a half inches of reach advantage, Parnasse is 8 years younger though. They touch gloves, both men fighting southpaw. Hooker range finds with some kicks early. Parnasse looks to feint his way forward. Some stance switching from Hooker as he moves around. Both men land inside calf kicks. Bit of a head kick from Parnasse. Hooker fires a front kick then Parnasse lands a body kick. A lot of Hooker’s lower or body kicks are getting checked by Parnasse. Parnasse with a couple of punches in close, he’s fighting his way inside of Hooker’s distance a bit more reliably now. Body kick from Parnasse hurts Hooker, he backs him to the fence then lands a head kick and a solid left hand to slump Hooker over and get the stoppage.
OFFICIAL RESULT: †WINNER – Salahdine Parnasse via TKO, body kick and punches, at 2:35 of Round 1
The First Round Finish Club thanks Mr. Parnasse for his work. Mic time for Parnasse after that impressive debut, he calls himself the best fighter in the world then says he always stops his opponents and knew he could do that here. Asked about the future he wants a top 5 opponent next and says his dream fight would be with Max Holloway. That seems a tad ambitious but he didn’t demand it just said it was his dream. To close he thanks his team and family.
WORLD CLASS. 🌎
Salahdine Parnasse made a STATEMENT earning the TKO over Dan Hooker!
