Jussier Formiga Admits Henry Cejudo Has Improved Since Their Last Fight

In an interview with MMA Junkie, Jussier Formiga said that Henry Cejudo has improved since the first time they fought in 2015. Cejudo won by split decision at that time and is currently the UFC flyweight champion.

He said: “The first (fight) was a split decision and now it would be totally different. He improved a lot, but I’ve improved a lot more. I think my most recent performances were much better than his.”

Formiga defeated Sergio Pettis at UFC 229 and when asked what was next for him, he said a title shot.
