UFC 245, Kamaru Usman vs. Colby Covington

Colby Covington will receive another shot at UFC welterweight champ Kamaru Usman. UFC President Dana White tells ESPN’s Brett Okamoto that Kamaru Usman vs. Colby Covington II is scheduled for UFC 268 in November.

Currently, the title rematch does not have a date or venue yet. However, ESPN reports that UFC is hoping for the event to take place at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

Usman previously defeated Covington via fifth-round knockout at UFC 245 in December 2019. Covington later fought former champion Tyron Woodley and beat him by TKO in the fifth round last September at UFC on ESPN+ 36.

Meanwhile, Usman has rattled off title defenses against Jorge Masvidal, Gilbert Burns, and Jorge Masvidal a second time since beating Covington. His UFC record currently stands at 14-0, with his pro MMA record at 19-1.

UFC 268 will be broadcast live on pay-per-view via ESPN+.
