Matt Brown Thinks Mike Perry Is a Good Matchup for Him

January 27, 2019 | Posted by Jeffrey Harris

UFC fighter Matt Brown chatted with reporters in a media scrum backstage at Bellator 214. During the scrum, he was asked about a match-up with fellow UFC welterweight fighter Mike Perry (via MMAjunkie). Perry had recently called for ppv-worthy opponents, and Brown said he’d be for that fight later this summer.

Regarding a potential match-up with Perry, Brown stated, “I think fans would get behind that fight. I think it would be a good fight for me to come back to and a good fight for him to get his ass kicked in.”

Matt Brown was in attendance at Bellator 214 to corner his training partner Ryan Lilley, who was in action at last night’s event. Lilley defeated James Barnes by knockout in the first round at the fight card.
