Megan Anderson Calls Out Cyborg After UFC 222
It appears that featherweight MMA fighter Megan Anderson is still keen on getting a fight booked with Cyborg. She called out the UFC women’s featherweight champion on Twitter after Cyborg’s win at UFC 222.
At UFC 222, Cris “Cyborg” Justino” defeated Yana Kunitskaya in the first round to retain her UFC women’s featherweight title. After the fight, Anderson challenged Cyborg on Twitter. She wrote, “Congrats Cris on your win tonight. Can we do this now?” You can check out her tweets below.
Additionally, UFC President Dana White seemed keen on booking a future fight between UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes and featherweight champion Justino in a champion vs. champion fight at a later date. So, it seems a fight between Anderson and Justino might not happen for a while.
UFC 222 was held last night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main card was broadcast live on pay-per-view. Prelims were shown on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.
