Miesha Tate Recalls Living in an RV During Early MMA Career

Miesha Tate spoke with MMAjunkie about her and boyfriend Bryan Caraway’s sacrifices for the sake of their careers. Some highlights are below:

On their leaner times in the sport: “It’s been crazy, obviously. We made a lot of sacrifices early on to get where we are today. That’s the moral of the story. When you have a dream and you have passion and vision, there’s nothing too great to sacrifice if you want it bad enough.”

On having to live in an RV: “We lived in a 22-foot RV and were poor living fight-to-fight and barely paycheck-to-paycheck to make ends meet. Now we’re doing really well, we just bought an RV that’s just a toy. A 45-foot RV that is top of the line, luxurious and beautiful. That’s what passion and ambition will get you if you’re really passionate and you don’t chase the dollar and chase the dream. The money will come.”
